Well Corey Taylor has said in Metalhammer this week that this year will be a massive stepping stone for Slipknot. Plus, they are due to be back writing in June/July time for a "rememberance" album for Paul Gray r.i.p

I get what your saying bud but my idea of them playing R&L is based moreso on if they plan to do a UK tour over here later in which R&L will be extra cash in.

i still think soundgarden have a chance of being at R&L but maybe not as likely as before the download announcement. but the truth is no one knows for sure on here. its just opinion and guess work.

You're clutching at straws. Any UK tour would be unlikely to include R&L, bands don't like have tixs going on sale when fest tixs are available so with Download already announced and then R&L they would be no time to have tixs on sale for a proper tour at the same time to include R&L.

because this year is so slow. being on muselive we knew muse were headlining about a year in advance, i dont believe that someone who has all the contacts doesnt know more than one band by now. thats all.

they are playing in portugal on the saturday of latitude, and probably in spain on thurs/fri so it seems unlikely
