There has been acts that have played both fests but never mainstage at both, IF Soundgarden are playing R&L (and I reckon they wont) then it'd be most likely as NME headliners not subs.

I've seen Hot Chip have announced a date at Hollywood Bowl in September. Could have a chance of Nme headliner I reckon. Could see a top 2 of Hot Chip and Justice.

I wonder when more rumours will start to surface, any idea efests?

Last year you were spoilt cos I had them all before xmas - surprisingly early. Some years it's only been a few days before the announcement I've nailed it. Some years I've not managed to get them all.

They come when they come, if they come at all. History says there's far more chance of efests getting them than elsewhere.

I don't understand why people are predicting The Killers headlining with Bloc Party Subbing, it happened in 2008! Then Bloc Party subbed again in 2009. A four year gap for the exact same bands to headline and sub is not enough!

Two Door Cinema Club - their nme tour seems to have sold much quicker than previous years, before that they were selling out academies easily.. had a really big crowd at Reading last year... with a new album they will be even bigger so would have to headline nme or do main.

Lana Del Rey - possibly one of the most hyped artists in a long time.. album is bound to sell tons.. firstly doubt she will be at Reading and if she did she would surely get a bigger slot than this.
