dip
Really? All 3 are brilliant live bands although personally I dont think any of them have done anything of note to warrent going much higher. Could maybe see them being placed top 3 FR stage but thats about it. Also hoping to see some Xcerts, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Fighting With Wire, Tall Ships, Tellison, Tubelord, Late Of The Pier, Ladyhawke and Blood Red Shoes on the bill this year. DavisO89
Simple Math was a great album and did get rave reviews but its hardly propelled the band into the public limelight. Unfortunately they just aren't as popular over here as they deserve to be. PABH could go higher but it depends how well the new album (whcih is fantastic imo) sells and is received. And although FRabbit did headline TTT (i was there, awesome set), they again dont have the mass appeal of the bands that will ultimately play higher up the bill (ala TDCC, Foster the People, The Temper Trap etc) I can see your points though. All 3 deserve to be higher on merit alone.
eFestivals
I know they've got massive egos but didn't they only start headlining festivals in 2010 at TitP? And they've definitely played non-headlining slots at other festivals since 2005. the first festival they headlined I think was Creamfields. I don't know for sure it's a fact but believe they took that because it was the only fest that was offering them the headliner status they craved. TYLER_4
There seems to be alot of buzz around Slipknot playing (appeared on alot of peoples poster) and they are touring around that time although not in this country. Neil you reckon theres anything to it? or no chance.

eFestivals
hant been on hear in a while and just read the past few pages, has the idea of Jay Z and kanye west co headlining been shot down?? it hasn't been, but the idea of them only really came about because someone has blocked-booked one of the major hotels in Reading. There's not many acts that would do that, and these guys could be it. BUT ..... Kanye headlined Big Chill last summer, and Big Chill isn't going ahead this year. There's various claimed reasons for why that is, but i'm sure that a part of it was that tickets didn't fly off the shelf. So on the basis of that I can't really see Melvin booking Kanye for a bigger fest than Big Chill even if he's doubled up with Jay-Z, especially when the expectation for R/L acts is more in the rock direction. eFestivals
No more updates from Neils Garden, was hoping for some news on him making a nice vegetable patch some of the flowers arer starting to come into bloom. Which is a little bit strange, because they don't normally flower until the end of March.
