With the The Killers i think you've got to remember the large post-exams, first festival crowd that make up a large proportion of ticket sales. They are unlikely to have seen em before and they're a pretty big draw for most 16/17 year olds who have grown up with them. I think Mr Brightside must have been played at every party i've ever been to.

Unfortunately I see them playing it safe with Foo's, Killers & someone else we'd expect (maybe Bloc Party). No doubt I'll be there but ffs not The Killers, nobody with any credibility really wants them there.

I was looking over older threads earlier, and last year's Lineup thread only made it to 73 pages, and that presumably includes discussion of the lineup once the real thing was released! What's so different this year? Is it just not knowing the headliners that's made the difference?
