Nope, that came about as a leak said Prodigy are meant to headline R&L with Green Day & Foos but then Prodigy were announced at Download so people started speculating it was due them swapping acts and not that it was a bullshit leak in the 1st place

R&L headliners are booked according to their fb page so yeah theyre booked.

the basis of the reason for why efests has them rumoured isn't exactly that, but something quite similar.

People keep mentioning this map in various forums. I don't know how accurate it is or supposed to be. If they were headlining R&L why would they have Leeds on the map and not Reading? If the map's correct to some degree then they're headlining a UK festival but I'd be skeptical how accurate the points on the map are, especially given the number of fesivals in a small area as far as England is concerned.

If the map is off and they are playing in England then Latitude and Phoenix (the location not being released yet could explain an inaccurate map position) could be options.

Difference is one is on the up and would have low fee and the other is the way down and will have a big fee.

Erm, The Cure are on the up (and have been since 2005) as far as their status as a live act is concerned. I didn't see their Move performance in 2004 get ranked as one of the top headline performances of the year, like Bestival last year has been.

I doubt we'd have Iron Maiden headlining if Foos are headlining as well, that already happened in 2005 and I'd like to think FR would want to keep it fresh.

All of this is mostly off the reputation they got from the bestival performance last year and their reflections shows.

They have been headlining festivals quite regular, same with bjork. Its just the ukwhere they have not been.
