I've just seen the clue and tbh I can see why Neil is taking pleasure in the guesses. It's nothing to do with a band. If you go round the houses you beat 'around the Bush'. Say something unimportant till you get to the point. You waste time. Ending up in China? Ie your well off course. Just be patient till he gets his information. It is no clue. Saw the Foos last year at the MK Bowl-freaking amazing and cant wait to see them again! Please announce Greenday as well though, would make my year.

If you look at the whole Round the houses and end up in China thing, if you skip to every 3rd letter and rearrange the letters, if one letter can be left out and one repeated, it can spell EUTHANASIA. Euthanasia is assisted suicide, and is a controverials subject because some class the people who do it as murderers, a murder is someone who kills, A KILLER.

and that's correct.

It's a genuine clue, that gives the exact name of the band if you're smart enough.

It's much more literal than anyone has thought so far, but a long way from being obviously literal in the way people have attempted.
