Yeah, Kasabian/The Killers/Foo Fighters is about as textbook UK Festival headliner booking 101 as you can get, without having KOL, Muse and Snow Patrol in the running. :P

But I hope we get a strong undercard full of curveballs. That's what I liked about the 2010 line-up, so much strength yet so many unexpected bookings and was a bit leftfield compared to your average Reading and Leeds line-up.

If Bloc Party aren't headlining (of course they could be third headliner) then I think as with Biffy it would be a poor move for them to sub, as it pretty much rules out their chances of headlining next year. Both are on the verge of headliner status and with new albums out towards the back end of the year I'd have thought that getting those out there and potentially headlining next year would be more attractive than subbing this year. if they sub this year they won't headline in 2013 and they'll lose the momentum of the new album to push them up, they'd more than likely have to wait for another album to come out and be successful before being pushed up to a headliner slot.

Shoulda got the cassa bit when you said something about language skills.

I don't think Foo's/Kasabian/Killers sounds that bad but something like Foo's/Kasabian/Blur would be incredible.

I've absolutely no idea on the third headliner at this moment, but I'm under the impression that it won't be Blur.

I believe they'll be doing a Hyde Park show, which pretty much rules them out of the running for R/L.
