Two of the IOW Festival 2011 headlining? How uninspiring. Moreso if The Killers are announced.

Would hope for Enter Shikari/Lostprophets/Avenged Sevenfold to headline NME to clash with Kasabian.

I hope for Slipknot or Green Day but pretty much settling for The Killers.

New guess...

Kasabian

Noel Gallagher

Kaiserchiefs

Enter Shikari

Foo Fighters

QOTSA

TheBlack Keys

The Maccabees

The Killers

Bloc Party

Mumford and Sons

TDCC

Saw Kasabian at their O2 gig & was thoroughly underwhelmed, it was a long way off what I would consider worthy of being called a headlining gig.

Would probably give them another chance though at a festival & some extra strength cider in my system.

Just not looking forward to my new camping neighbours. The gig at the O2 was full of right "were in Laaandaaan mate!" dickheads.

Didn't Andy Copping (of Download fame) say that he was "thoroughly impressed" by R&Ls headliners for this year, or something like that??? Can't imagine he'd give a shit about Kasabian, rumours were he went for Foos this year... so would that mean the 3rd headliner was heavier:

SOAD (DL 2011)

SlipKnot (DL 2010)

AC loves Kasabian, completely loves them. He's mentioned them on twitter loads. Infact looking through, he's been to see them at least six times since September. Stalker much?!

Kasabian smoked the O2 for the second night in a row...this band are unstoppable...I fucking love them!!!

Yeah, I have to say, if the Killers were announced as the third headliner it would look pretty uninspired. It would begin to look to me like all the exclusivity thing means is getting bands a year after their album comes out and they play everywhere else, which ends up not really looking very impressive.

I think either drop the exclusivity thing or go the 2010 route of having (arguably) slightly smaller headliners (Arcade Fire, Blink-182) but having a reason for them to play AND them being exclusive.

Does Noel Gallagher have a strong chance of playing or is this just a prediction from people?

I mean if this is a Rock/Indie festival I feel like he is a must because, minus Coldplay, his album was the best selling last year of this genre.

So surely he must be a certain? Anyone Agree/Disagree?
