ArcticGorilla
Awesome! I mean I'll go if he is there or not, but I'm just a big fan! What about Miles Kane/ Mona? They were amazing last year and would fit on the same day somewhere under Kasabian I feel.
Andre91
So we've got Foo's who we all knew already and we're whored out everywhere the summer just gone, and Kasabian, who don't get me wrong are pretty good, but have never deserved to headline any festival ever imo hoping the third isn't The Killers, bot because i dislike them, but because I'd prefer someone more high profile and different from the others. Hopefully System, Slipknot or Green Day
Bisque
Who's looking likely to be the NME headliners for Foo's & Kasabian then?
ComeCloser
Yeh man watched them both last year and am a big fan of both. But with regards to where they'll play - I think they'll progress up the NME stage, Miles Kane might step up to fourth or fifth down on the main. ArcticGorilla
yeah I guess it will be down to if they have new material out, which I'm not sure either are releasing any, but I don't know. But Miles Kane supported Kasabian on their tour recently, so I reckon he'll be somewhere near them

gazza_20
we can all but rule out blur now. we have our 2 hr slot band. The Killers or SOAD. We know Green Day The Cure Blur won't play. I would say though that if The Killers headline this year then Blur are very likely for next year, just my thoughts. If they don't, it's still very open. But again, if Biffy who I think will and Blur headlined, your last would be a 1.5 hr band too.
gazza_20
I reckon Chase & Status on Foo's day and The Macabees or TDCC for Kasabian.
ComeCloser
Miles Kanes announced a new single for his tour in April, perhaps an album to follow. Not heard out from Mona

ArcticGorilla
Yeah, I thought he was doing work with Alex Turner again, so I don't expect a new album. As for the third headliner, I'm really hoping its not Green Day... Blur would be good imo but everyone seems to hate them. So would Rammstein, but that is wishful thinking I think. Yellow_Fellow
Yes, That's why I don't see C&S as a NME tent headliner as they'll want to see Kasabian i think.

Andre91
If you read my response Gaz it was to say who I think will be NME headliners, Chase & Status to headline the NME on Foo's day
mrtourette
Biffy are unlikely mate, rumour has it they're missing this year and coming back to headline next year. Soundgarden are strongly rumoured as a sub this year, or even headline NME. Paramore, dont think they'll be coming again for a while after their shambles of a performance at Leeds in 2010 Of course this is all my opinion, others may tell you different! ArcticGorilla
Why are Soundgarden strongly rumoured to sub? Is this based on logic or just because some people here have put them into their predictions to sub?
