As you can see they've been in the fest rumors, news etc etc game for 15 + years.

Also on the cure website, there is a bit at the bottom after the austria show that says about 4 or 5 more. 2 would be R&L

i think she might be on main, either that or she'll play V. I think shes too big for NME tent. IMO

Obviously knew a fair few Cure songs before all these rumours but I have just been listening to their Greatest Hits CD and I am very impressed. Would happily see them, and I'm 18- surely then I fit into this precious coveted R+L demographic nonsense while liking older music? Been watching their set at Bestival last year and they seem decent enough live too, bring it on!

If The Cure headline i'll be happy, it's something a little different. I remember people moaning when Arcade Fire headlined, and in my all my years going to Reading they were one of the best headliners i've seen.

Well if it was out of The Killers and the Cure to headline, i reckon Benn may have been more persuaded to go for The Cure. The headliners need SOME SORT OF VARIATION....

Plus the fact that The Killers only headlined in 2008, it's much too early imo for them to come back. Otherwise, goodbye Reading welcome "We recycle headliners every 3 years because we're so cool" V festival and TITP

Bollocks! Wish is better and its more fitting for the Reading 'demographic', beating that, people should listen to 'Pornography' by The Cure and remember that they released 'Lovecats' only one year later.

Does anyone know why 2011 had only 9 bands on the main stage for each day? yet in other years where they only had 1 or 2, 9 band days 05 and 06 had 10 bands for each day.
