There is literally nowhere in the world that The Cure, if they were booked, wouldn't headline. Some of you might not like it, but that's just a fact of the matter.

Ok, this is what we have been told. Sorry if we are wrong but this is what we have been told:

Main Stage Headliners: Foo Fighters, Green Day, Kasabian

Other main stage: Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers

NME Headliner: The Cure

Lockup Headliner: Refused

I personally don't think those shows were overpriced. They were expensive, yes... but you got 5 different sets. 3 Albums and 2 encores, different band lineups in an intimate setting.... I thought it was well priced.

Got to give it to strictly R+L, they are impressive trollers. All they've done is take the rumours from here, stick The Cure and The Killers on lower slots because they are thick and believe they would play them despite the fact they are making illogical assumptions. Then they slag off this site.

Remember, R+L said they've got 'the ultimate headliners' - the third headliner has got to be pretty special to live up to that. I wouldn't call Kasabian ultimate at all. So with that in mind I don't think The Killers have a chance - The Cure or even Green Day as SR suggest seems more likely to me.
