I'd imagine the "NME" stage band rumour would be All Time Low because they've said they are to someone or something like that (read the thread about them) and then the other i'm hoping for the main stage one being someone like Franz Ferdinand, Pixies, Vampire Weekend or Fleet Foxes! the key word there is "Hoping" though....

I don't see much difference between Avril Leveign and Paramore.. or Blink-182... or 30 Seconds To Mars

Avril's a lot poppier than those bands, particularly with her more recent albums (hardly to the same extent as the likes of Steps though). Back in her Let Go/Under My Skin days when she was more rock would have fit in okay (possibly even for heavier festivals like Download), but not now. Still a guilty pleasure of mine though.
