If Reading were to get 2 of the 4 biggest bands around at the moment (excluding coldshit) in one year that would be insane! And probably quite expensive. I just hope the undercard is just as good

I see you have The Cure as a SR for Latitude, would you say they are now highly likely to be there instead of R&L?

lol ..... they'll do one or the other I reckon. Because I feel they're less likely for R/L, it makes them more likely to Latitude.

But I still have major doubts about that for all sorts of reasons, just as I do with Cure doing R/L, and Green Day doing R/L.

Is the September Arena tour info less reliable now? I can't see them doing R&L and a tour so soon after.

The most credible info I have for Green Day is that supposed arena tour. Like you I can't really see them doing that tour and R/L.

But I have other things which have them playing R/L. So I can't rule them out.

I kind of hope that it isn't Green Day, on the basis of if they tour I will go and see them anyway. (I preferred them when I saw them indoors, and it will likely be a longer set).

Then I can see someone else at R&L

Assuming it is out of Green Day and The Cure I think while Green Day would have the bigger effect on ticket sales The Cure would be the far more interesting option. Whichever way I would be more than happy with either as I have never seen The Cure and haven't seen Green Day since 2001. I'm very happy that The Killers seem to be out of the equation though!

Both Green Day and The Cure are only rumours not SR or TBC so doesnt mean its between them two acts surely. Maybe well off the mark and a completely different band. Take the The Killers - a rumour, now gone completely

I think it might be Green Day afterall, strictly R&L made me think otherwise as theyre normally full of crap but who knows,
