iPaulo xD
Tom Delonge has confirmed Angels & Airwaves will be playing festivals this summer. So an appearance from them could be on the cards? 4th/5th on the main stage would suit them imo.

Andre91
I'd also like Foster The People on the main, could open it or play second from bottom?
Sarge009
Foster The People seem like an NME sub act to me. I do think The Cribs look likely, though. They're doing a few tour dates next month and will have an album out by the time R+L comes around. Maybe even an NME headliner?
evilduck
Edit: Went and found the quotes from the Bestival thread. Coz I'm nice. I was talking to Ryan from The Cribs the other day, asked what festivals they were playing and he said Reading and Leeds, think he said T aswell but I can't remember. Didn't mention Bestival but I didn't ask specifically. Edited February 14, 2012 by evilduck
MJMilz14
Didn't Blur and Metallica get 2 hours each in 2003? Which years have had headliners that have all played 90 minutes? 2001, 2002 and 2004? I think Pearl Jam got 1 hour 40 minutes in 2006.
mrtourette
The Cribs are quite an obvious booking though, it would be a surprise if they weren't there. Edited February 14, 2012 by mrtourette

Yellow_Fellow
I'm going by the fact Bestival have them but don't tout them as exclusive - I assume they're somewhere else and I want to believe we have them.

iPaulo xD
Huge fan of the band, just got tickets for there Cardiff show which will be my 10th time seeing them, and I actually think they could pull off a headline show. BUT absolutley no way on this earth will they ever headline Reading and Leeds now. They had there chance to capitalise at there peak in 2007, but took too long making a new album which didn't exactly appeal to the masses (even though I loved it) and the time has gone. Best they can really hope for i'd have thought is a better recieved new album this year to possibly elevate them back to 3rd from top, or another NME headline slot. Sad, but true. jump
They've done nothing to stay as headliners in fairness. People have dropped from headliners before.
