Yellow_Fellow
US acts aren't as eager to accept play lower down fests especially in this case of a comeback

LibertinesFanBoy
The Killers will headline every UK festival they play for the next 10 years. Theyll probably headline R/L in the next 3 years and assuming theyre still together then again in another 8-10 years. Theyll also probably headline Glastonbury, Oxegen, TITP and V another 2 times in the next 10 years aswell.
JID
I'm going by the fact Bestival have them but don't tout them as exclusive - I assume they're somewhere else and I want to believe we have them.

gazza_20
Lady Gaga for TITP does not suit the festival in the slightest, in the last 10 years there have been no headliners that even come close to Gagas style of music, if you look all the headlining bands are of similar calibre and style to Reading/Leeds headliners bar the odd couple such as Coldplay and The Verve so to suddenly bump up Lady Gaga to a headlining spot at TITP would be a strange choice indeed and at most I can see her second on main similar to Beyonces spot last year Biffy I totally agree on as I have thought they will headline next year for a while

eFestivals
I have to say, as far as I remember seeing yesterday. Yes SR&L do come up with some shit but they called New Order for Bestival 1st yesterday. I'm not even too confident from what I saw yesterday that Bestival page on here actually had them down as R even before today. Correct me if I'm wrong If we'd abused the embarge'd press release as they did then we'd have had it listed hours before they did. They're telling you fuck all that's special. gazza_20
I'd change that main stage to: Green Day Bloc Party Chase & Status Kasabian Dizzee Mumford Foo Fighters The Black Keys Kaiser Chiefs It's gets people C&S plus ES, TDCC and The Maccabees on nme Edited February 14, 2012 by gazza_20
Role Model
I wish the festival would embrace more hip-hop than mostly just dizzee, who really should be at V these days or T4 on the beach.

gazza_20
Yeah would love that but seeing as they're at Download and SW4 it seems to be like Pendulum last year making them less likely for RnL sadly. Also am I the only person that would rather have Green Day on the Sunday? would be brilliant having them close the festival
eFestivals
They actually only put it up and questioned it as rumoured last night, wasn't till today they confirmed it. that's bullshit. I saw that they'd got it up as confirmed before I left my fesk last night, after someone had posted on here that they'd leaked it.
