I would love Tenacious D to play but really don't see any chance at all with them doing Download and other fests around that time... they don't seem the sort of band to want to tour for too long. They'll probably do early summer festivals and then maybe a headline tour around november.

Sub mate, if he could headline the festival, he wouldn't be headlining the smaller do's like Nottingham's Splendour and etc.

His new album needs to be massive and then he's in with a shout I'd say.

See with DIzzee this year playing, it does all depend if they decide not to book him again yet and get him back to headline next year but that will still be two new headline acts next year IMO and I can't see happening.

im seeing a few bands on the rumour page iv not heard of before. is this because they'll simply be on the smaller stages, or is it because Mr benn an co are spending allot of money on the 3 big headliners?
