Green day would be amazing and would fit benn's statement of the 'ultimate headliners' they would sell alot of tickets....

If green day, foo's and kasabian were the headliners, it would be a deffinate sellout which is what benn is after, it is just a matter of how likely they are.

Also I would really love to see the black keys sub or third, they deffinatley deserve it, especially with the success of el camino

Hoping for Green Day purely because I saw them at their Wembley Stadium show in 2010 and it was by far the greatest performance I've seen by a band (Foo Fighters at MK Bowl was a close second!) and would love to see the atmosphere that they'd bring to the festival, particular with the hits (e.g Basket Case, American Idiot...)

However that said, I dont know if this makes them the most likely for the spot, it's all speculation and opinion with me

i've seen both foos (wembley & MKB) & green day (o2 arena & wembley) and its quite tough to choose who was better. obviously green day have the bigger show in a sense but the foos are awesome live too.

want to see Billy Talent back but can't see it as they are touring in June..

also @spud doubt download will have billy talent on an exclusive who are looking likely to be possibly 4th top on main stage, but due to when they are touring its unlikely for them to do R&L unless they tour europe all summer then do america later in the year/start of next

I'm really disappointed that the Cure have been downgraded, and Green Day now seems a possibility.

Having the Cure was something 'different', something 'new'.

Kasabian AND Green Day is hardly the most challenging of headliners is it....

Keese is no more accurate than efests but yes he is a reliable source that can back up whatever efests have as TBC if people don't believe it.

i'm not trying to do him down cos there's no doubt he gets info from a very solid source - but his record is not spot on.

The issue at his end is, i think (from the little he's said), that what he gets told comes via one or more mouths that aren't up-to-date about music, meaning that important parts of the full info might get dropped along the line to him.

The FR tent may have been rammed for them last year but I can't see any way they'd headline.
