AC/DC wouldn't be booked, if you look at what happened at Download you'd see why.

Nope, the festivals is booked by the compares and over seen by Melvin Benn if NME had any influence then NoFX, Iron Maiden etc would never have been booked in the past.

Can you seriously see Nickelback been booked? I think there would be a riot if they were booked. I liked them up and till that commercialised poop they call 'rockstar'

Very very fair point. But i heard Nofx actually paid the festival to play, or did I dream that? ha.

I would love Coldplay to headline, but i just cant see it.

Never heard that before but that's very unlikely. NoFX did have a falling out with FR as they were offered a slot one year but they took to long to accept it so FR booked someone else then when NoFX said yes they were offered a lower one and it pissed them off (they were ranting about it on their live shows) and said they wouldn't play R&L again unless they were paid a £1million but they made up eventually and played again.
