I wasn't comparing the two bands, i was merely making the point that if it was a band that you liked, we wouldn't be having this conversation. I'm just sick and tired of people giving stick to bands like MCR just because it seems cool to slag them off, even after they proved what a good show they can put on.

That makes sense, if Bloc Party don't play this year they'll probably want to headline next year with a new album out but if Biffy are headlining (if I said) FR won't want to book another smaller headliner as well.

Placebo are on the way down, they played 2009 3rd down not subbing. The dates they've added this year are only small venues. I think the one I'm going to is only 1500 capacity whereas when they subbed they were selling out venues like the M.E.N which is about 15000 capacity.

I know there were two going about and that Hart Attack did one of them but I'm not saying it is true. I'm saying that given a bit of thought on what it could well look like and who could well be playing there, it might not be far off with different subs.

He also made a bloody good try at a Soni one and Neil had something also from some media source, was enough for him to put all the bands up as SR, R now to be fair but still.

Thought Jay - Z had done an arena tour? But maybe not. Just saying there's a fair few acts that have played Wireless headlining and not outright headlined like R&L etc. Rihanna subbed V and headlining Wireless now, Jay - Z had already headlined Wireless before he subbed at T. Pulp headlined it and co-headed at R&L

Green Day Kasabian Foo Fighters

Slipknot ? Bloc Party The Black Keys

Lostprophets Kaiser Chiefs Placebo

You me at six Fleet Foxes Death Cab For Cutie

NME

Franz Ferdinand Enter Shikari The Maccabees

Bon Iver All Time Low Foals

Band Of Skulls Metronomy Foster The People

I would like that lineup a lot, wishful/realistic

Anyone considered that Jay - Z could be booked to sub kasabian? He was under them at T fest, he'd headlined Wireless, who tend to get headliners that sub/co-headline at the most over here.

Kasabian

Jay - Z

Kaiser Cheifs

That'd be pretty strong.

Foo Fighters day could go:

Foo Fighters

Biffy Clyro

Placebo

Motorhead

We Are Scientists

Eagles of Death Metal

The Subways

... or something like that. Biffy are playing DL, IOW and Rockness as well, but Prodigy played DL, IOW, Rockness & Reading in 2009.

Motorhead played Sonisphere and Bloodstock last year, and there's no room for them at Download. Doubt they would do UK Soni two years in a row. If they were to play any day, it would be the Foo's day.

Another day could go:

Kasabian

Bloc Party

Mumford & Sons

Maximo Park

White Lies

Another day could have...

*Unkown NME Headliner*

The Black Keys

Kaiser Chiefs

The Ting Tings

Lost Prophets

....or perhaps Kaiser's headline the NME tent one night? I think that would be much better for them at this point of their career.

...
