I actually think at R/L Jay-Z would be accepted much better without Kanye. Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive Kanye fan, but people were booing his rants at Big Chill, so I'd hate to think what the neanderthal majority of the R/L's crowd would do in such a situation.

these are my opinions on hip hop at festivals if you want to see it so much you could always take a trip to V seems you would be more at home there

Jay-Z headlined in 08, Beyonce headlined in 2011... I do hope you're not suggesting that she makes it a regular thing to follow all of her husbands previous tour plans from past years, because that would be a pretty stupid thing to suggest, to say the least. Beyonce wouldn't play at R/L, ever, Glastonbury is a totally different festival, as is T in the Park, end of.

Him on his own is possibly but even he's announced two manchester solo gigs so far. No doubt they'll fly out, but announcing solo gigs 2 weeks before you'd be announced for R&L? Nah, R&L facebook said earlier towards a rock act or something

The Cure have been pretty much ruled out, but using them as an example, I think if Jay Z & Kanye headlined tickets would sell faster than they would if The Cure headlined and could possibly stretch that to Killers aswell, therefore, good booking. IMO
