A slight thought. The Stone Roses are known previously for having a dancey sub are they not? Noel is now said to be co-heading with The Killers at V, with an unconfirmed sub for The Roses on the other day. Would not be surprised if V have got them to sub V, knowing the fact that V pulls in bands a lot of the time in subs positions that could well be considered headliners themselves, I bloody hope not though.

I would 100% take Bloc Party as the 3rd headliner at R&L if it means we get them and a stronger undercard.

They could be supporting The Stone Roses on their tour then? I'd love to see that, and I do recall Ian Brown saying a lot of people would be unhappy about the support they'd chosen, so it might make sense.

MB is a vegan? Bloody hell, makes it even more annoying that's there's fuck all in the way of vegetarian food on-site, every year I live off chips and Saly Army soup, get a few more vegetarian food vans like the one in the arena.

To be honest m8, this might be my last Leeds fest. it was my 1st festival I ever went and i want to end it on a good note. I was happy to have 2010 as my last ever one as for me that was my best and amazing but then 2011 just got me there, I had already bought a ticket though in pre.sale. Pulp persuaded me and was not disappointed, plus The offspring was great to see just the weather was dreadful at time. Didn't see Rise Against which was probably a mistake but Muse was ace and MCR did well, The Strokes were underwhelming and 30 STM were pretty shit IMO but had a great day on Pulp day. I'm now at the age where R&L is getting a bit young for me too much and although I'm planning to do TITP next year, I haven't ever and want to before that gets like that to and just experience it once, and the 20th anniversary is the best time for it.

Indeed. I think even if it turns out bad, to have only gone once and on a big anniversary date, you can't go wrong and given the headliners are likely to be 3 out of Biffy, Lady GaGa, The Killers/Blur then I can't complain at that so far lol.

How old are you then? i'll be 26 later this year lol, so I'm about 6 at least years above the average Leeds crowd

Dizzees playing way too many festivals this year hope he doesn't come. Also Bloc Party isn't a band everyone is hyped for now they have reformed. No wgere near as much attention as Blink, Soad, Refused, ATDI, Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, Pulp etc got. Plus there new album wont be out (i dont think) sooo... why would they headline they are in the same situation as they were in 09 when they subbed.
