According to the minutes of that mythical meeting after 2007, Chili's will never be invited back. True or not, I agree, and don't think they ever will.

Their tour's being promoted by the Soni promoters anyway...

With regards to a Foo's/Chili's co-headline, I think there's more chance of Gaddafi and Bin Laden performing Origin Of Symmetry and Paid In Full by Eric B and Rakim, back to back, all the way through.

I'm hopeless at predictions, but just a few thoughts.

I hope that Kasabian don't play, because I'm very wary of the type of crowd they would be likley to attract. And probably because I've never seen them play better than they did in a strip mall club in Phoenix off the back of the first album.

If we need an oddball Saturday afternoon act then I might suggest Status Quo would fit the bill.

Somewhere on the line up I'd like to see Weezer, Manchester Orchestra, Coheed (if they're still going) and Goldfinger.

Not too fussed about Headliners, but I would like to see a real 'pro' 'oldie' band who know how to play/perform, e.g. The Cure, Depeche Mode, Neil Young, Pixies, Pearl Jam, etc

So who'd be your top 2? I agree itd be a very good move for the fest to get good ticket sales, i'd like someone bigger though.

in this case.

Biffy Clyro

Bloc Party

Kasabian

Kasier Chiefs

Foo Fighters

QOTSA

? only thing is, where do the prodigy fit in? i#m relying almost on them and bloc party being there to go back as i can probs get a foo's ticket on a suspected early year tour.

Actually come to think of it I could see Biffy headlining being a realistic bet. If Arcade Fire and MCR can pull it off after so many doubters, I reckon a hugely acclaimed British act who are always popular with the R/L crowd like Biffy can.

As for Kasabian - one of the best Britih live acts going and a perfect festival band. They may attract a few pissed up meatheads but surely it won't be worse than the year Arctic Monkeys, KOL, Kaisers and The Prodigy played? They'll put on one of the performances of the weekend if they're booked for next year.

Foo Fighters

Pixies

Placebo

No Doubt

Biffy Clyro

The Prodigy

The Darkness

The Gaslight Anthem

Kasabian

Bloc Party

Death Cab For Cutie

White Lies

Can see something like that happening.
