Maybe I'm getting old, but are you guys going to keep this 'yep they'll play', 'they're bigger than them', 'they're to shit to play', all winter?

Some of you are working harder than the people actually who's job it is! :D

I guess if you mention every name possible, you might just get it right.

Notes: System of a Down and Slipknot co headline with SOAD closing at Reading and Slipknot closing at Leeds.

Kanye and Jay-Z are billed as together but actually perform three sets. Kanye first and then Jay-Z second at Reading (Swop around at Leeds) and finish off with Watch the Throne. Around 1 hour per single set and 30 mins for Watch The Throne so works out about same length as The Strokes and Pulp did.

Thoughts?

I can't see them doing 2 lots of co-headliners in the same year imo, if it was System/Slipknot & Kayne/Jay Z then I'd reckon Slipknot would just sub since they are willing to do so at Soundwave and be more similar to Libs & Arcade Fire.

as was his appearance in 2000 (or was it 2001?).

He's always dreadful. I've never seen him when he hasn't been dreadful.

In whatever year that was, I spent a while asking the people who'd crowd surfed into the pit why they were going so nuts for such an awful act. The response from all of them was "yeah, I know he's awful, but it's Ian Brown maaaaan".

There's no accounting for some people.

Eminem doing the snippets of songs thing at T in the park last year was the single most infuriating thing I have ever had the privilege of witnessing.

I still regret not going to see the prodigy instead.

If Kayne and Jay-Z do headline next year, I will watch at first but if they start that I will go watch someone else.
