2012 Lineup

Kasabian won't play under bloc party, biffy are probably going to want headline slots after soni this year so can't see them second. Can't see both Green Day and Foo's playing, will be 1 or the other. Lostprophets aren't big enough anymore. Would like no doubt to play, 3rd would seem about right.

... Biffy would accept a subheadlining spot at a bigger festival, obviously.

Lostprophets popularity is gonna start coming back granted this next album is successful.

There's no reason we can't have Foos AND Green Day, other than the whole Green Day & Festivals thing...

I'm still going with

Bloc Party Biffy Clyro (co headlining)

Blur Dizzee Rascal

Foo Fighters Queens Of The Stone Age

Anticipating Green Day and Foo Fighters, would like the third to be Blur but i feel Reading might try another "fresh" headliner if MCR perform as well as Arcade Fire did last year... But i can't see Paramore or Biffy doing it just yet.

I'm hoping that A Perfect Circle or Tool might tour Europe next year, but i fear they'd be snapped up by download if they did...

SOAD

Slipknot

A Perfect Circle

Blur

The Prodigy

Stereophonics

Foo Fighters

Bloc Party

Placebo

I can dream....

Biffy are already huge, once they release their next album they will be even bigger. I can see them being booked as a headliner even if there record does not come out until after the annoucement. They are a great live band. I think the album will be late this year with an arena tour to accompany it.

I think they will top the bill at both t in the park and r&l.

I havnt gone through all the pages, but radiohead have got to be worth a mention.

will be 3 years since they last played, no glasto next year, they wont play v again with the direction v is going, they wont play download/sonisphere. reading/leeds would be the only big fest they could play in england.

or is it to soon, as im sure they will be doing fests next year unless the do iow as an exclusive.

I still stand by

Bloc Party - Announced getting back together in September etc, recording and headlining is the next step, can't see a 2nd place.

? - Not sure about here, btu Kaiser's could easily play here too.

Kasabian - Won't return to V so soon and R+L have been calling for them for a while now.

Kaiser Chiefs - Great reception and performance in 2009, could've easily headlined over KOL but 2nd placing good.

Foo Fighters - Nirvana Anniversary, said this last year, just makes sense.

QOTSA - Natural placeing and time to come back.

as someone said, Biffy will go TITP 1st and then probably come back and headline in 2013 with Metallica and possibly The Libertines return.

I can't see The Killers coming back to leeds before they go back to V Festival and Coldplay as is said if not V will go Bestival/IOW.

Green Day I Think as well will probably never play to festival again, can't see KOL playing for a long time either.

I don't think we'll get Pearl Jam, not a demographic band for this fest now.

System Of A Down would be a shoe in should they play next year for Soni I would imagine. Fit in better, would get offered better overall package with the crowd their aimed at them more. Soundgarden could join them.
