*edit* just checked and it was last month and they've just released a greatest hits album last week. Nicky Wire has said they are doing a new album but will disappear for a while.

I still don't see any certain headliners for next year apart from Foo Fighters, I would say Jaz-Z is fairly likely but the 3rd headliner is gonna be a tricky one to work out. I think it's gonna be one of those surprising ones like Guns n Roses when we don't find out until a week or 2 before the announcement but can't put my finger on who.......

Biffy were on Radio 6 earlier saying only a few shows this summer. They think festivals may be sick of them, and lots of festivals in 2013.

'A few shows' could mean Reading/Leeds. Headlining 2013 would make sense though.

Been looking for a write up to find their precise wording but I'd take a few shows would mean their own shows and not festival appearences as bands most of the time don't refer to fests as shows but playing unless they are headlining this year which I'd find unlikely if they are playing lots of fests in 2013.
