Arrving Thursday afternoon, best spot close to nightlife

We'll be arriving Thursday afternoon, so obviously more popular spots are out of the question. Where is our best bet to get a spot close to nightlife? Tent isn't that huge, roughly 50sq ft/5 sq m.

Anywhere you find that you can fit your tent into.

Seriously, almost all people will have arrived by then and you will just have to take any spot you can find.

if there is just the two of you - I'd consider a smaller tent... and head straight for the Dairy - or the new fields up and behind the pyramid.

Yep I think come Thursday your choices will be fairly limited.

Jesus I'd hate to think what you'd define as a large tent though if 5m2 is small, I've seen smaller bedrooms

It's essentially a thin and long tube - pretty nice backpacking tent actually.

I think people are imagining a 5m x 5m tent, a 5sqm tent to put it in old money will be about 8' x 6'6" so not that big. Anyway I have nothing constructive for the op other than trying to reassure them that they have not bought a marquee by mistake.
