AdamSheff
Hi. I was looking to rent a Camper as a change from camping. The thing is it seems pretty steep cost wise?? How much have people paid to rent one?? Also. If i rent a 4 person camper, can another two people camp in tents with us??

rischbrit
We are renting 6 berth van for four of us so plenty of room!!! We are putting a tent at the rear for two friends to join us so yes you can have people in tents camp with you. With regards to prices most places will increase prices as soon as you mention Glastonbury but as there is a few of us we are splitting the cost between us. However you may have left it too late as most campers will have been booked up that week but you never know some may still be available! Superscally
I'm gonna be hiring mine out - a 1977 VW Bay Camper - 4 berth, all new interior to be completed by Glasto so you may be the first people ever in it since rthe refit! Not sure about the insurance side of things yet, but looking at £650 including the £75 campervan ticket if I can get one and then the insurance for the week is on you. I'll give some more details out if ya interested! P.S You can deffo have a tent next to it, but the car the other guys come in won't be allowed to park in the field with you... Big Vern
im hiring a Motorhome. Costing me £750 for the week, Tuesday to Tuesday. Hiring the same one we had last year for V Festival, really is nice (fixed double bed, separate bathroom with toilet, shower and sink), kitchen area with fridge, hob etc. Only trouble is, with no electric hook up you cant use the main sockets, but hey, only going to be in for sleeping and breakfast! camperamber
Checkout www.camperamber.webeden.co.uk She's a beautifully restored VW, a real gem near Gloucester, so pretty close to many fesival sites. Really nice, friendly people to deal with.
grumpyhack
We're renting classic motorhome - four berth for £350. Incredibly the guy running the hire business is packing it in because he's not had enough takers, yet his price is less than half that asked by most motorhome people.
