Recommend me a Mobile Phone

Ordered a Huawei Honor 7 from Amazon, deal of the day, from £249.99 to £209.99 with £20 back in credit, which I'll use on a case and screen protector.

Great reviews, stay clear of TechRadar's review though, its rubbish, they don't even know what they're on about, they think the programmable button is just a button to google, really poor reviewing.

Try Stuff.tv or GSM Arena for a good, in depth review if anyone is thinking of getting it

I was going to reply to you recommending this. I've just got a new phone so spent a lot of time recently looking at reviews and lists and the Honor 7 seemed to be the best bet for what you were after. Reviews look very positive.

I just renewed my contract with a dirt cheap harrier from EE.  8 core snapdragon, Android 5, HD screen and stock android without all the bullshit apps that providers put on that tend to slow phones down, really pleased with the clean experience.

I'd read nothing but good reviews about the handset, can wholeheartedly recommend.

  • 6 months later...

My galaxy s2 has finally broke on me today so need a new phone.

I'm not looking for anything too high end just a simple smartphone and want to spend around the £200 mark.

It could do with being dust/water proof as i spend most of the day covered in plaster.

Its been 5 years since my last purchase so i'm way behind on the latest tech avalible and the kids just keep pestering me to upgrade but i'm on a nice little £15 a month rolling contract at the minute with everything umlimited that i dont want to loose.

Are there any efesters who use something similar or could recommend a smartphone.

I'm looking at the sony xperia z3 but finding it hard to decide, its a bloody minefield out there the choice is huge.

Any help will be much appreciated thanks.
