clarebear86
I'm planning on getting the bus from temple meads to the festival, and i'm just wondering where abouts this bus drops off and what pedestrian gate do you enter?? Thanks
StoneCircle
The bus station is right next to Passenger Gate A, here is the map, it to the top left http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/data/image/2011map(1).jpg

DeejayDawn
Anyone got a heads up on of gate B pretty easily accessible from the east car parks?
Simpy
Gate A was really quick in 2008 and 2009. Gate D in 2010 was a complete and utter nightmare as everyone was already there waiting to get in hours before the festival gates opened. Literally hundreds of people trying to squeeze through a gate that was being operated like a filter with another car park. Crushing, heat exhaustion, etc. All of those were worth it to finally get in but not worth arriving the night before and having no sleep. Back to Gate A in the future for me. ukmountie
Gate C last year, after footie started and I still had a hell of a queue to get in. Came from campervan E19 and there was a queue there, and another most of the way up the hill of death for gate C. A friend I was meeting came via bus and I left my van the same time she left London. Just got in ahead of her.
