Hello was just wondering if anyone with experience of myhabs could answer me a few questions :).

I understand that the myhab section has it's own carpark,

does anyone know what time this opens?

Also do I get my festival tickets or wristband from the myhab entrance or do I have to Queue with everyone else at the main festival gates and then make my way up to the myhab car park ?

Any help would be nice

Cheers

Stayed with Myhab last year, (with ###### on the same site the year before as well)

They do have their own car park which is very close to the tents/myhabs. This is a real plus for being able to leave bits in the car and not walk miles back to the main car parks.

I know you could get access from the Wednesday but not before.

You get your wrist bands at the Myhab site (which then has it's own gate into the festival.)

I can only arrive on the Thursday due to commitments and this is why I use this sort of facility. I did stay on the main site 05, 08 but the camping on Thursday became too much of a lottery.

The Myhab was great (didn't rain though last year) and we could see the sky from inside!

Showers and 'on camp' facilities made it a great place to camp however the two hills you need to climb make it bloody hard!

I've gone for Tangerine Fields this year as it seems similar without the climbs and I've heard good reports.

If you can get there on the Wednesday and can manage without the shower I'd always stay on the main site.

Its a good option for me knowing I'm going to have a tent pitched for me no matter what time I get there.

Hope this helps

I stayed here last year and it was really good. I take it you have already booked your Myhab as they are sold out!

I am in the camping section, as last year, and the car is literally 2 mins walk from your tent. This is brilliant for beer and food stuffs. The hill is bad but only short so don't worry too much about it. Other bonuses are that the roads in and out are really quiet. And not to mention the top quality toilets and shower facilities.

You wont regret it.

The Myhab is designed to be recycled, this means most of the frame is moulded plastic and designed to be re used, the rest is cardboard fastened down by big straps. If the Myhab isn't on even ground (such as a field) then it may not fit together correctly.

Ours didn't.

This meant that if it rained we would have gotten very wet.

As you know last year was perfect so no worries!

Hope that explains

TBH, As long as the Myhab is pretty level, (ours was on a large slope) you'll be fine.

I'd also say that the guys looking after the site are really helpful and did all they could to level it out for us. (put a pallet under one end)

I know people are a little worried about staying under cardboard if it rains but I don't think the rain would get in if it's set up properly.

I would however recommend having a small tent as well (everyone did to store their things) set up next to the Myhab. (some people had large Gazebo's with tables and chairs)

Saves having dusty (no rain this year) clothes in the Myhab.

Just thought i'd add another question to this thread, probably a no brainer but thought i'd make sure.

We brought 2 tickets for this year for me and my partner but a friend of ours has decided he's gonna try again in the resale.

On the off chance he gets a ticket could he pitch a tent next to us in the myhab field? or will he be camping alone in the festy?

Already know the answer i think but like i said...just checking

I have booked a Myhab tent this year. I have been in a campervan for 4 years but it has been sold so we cant use it anymore. I like the convenience of the Myhab situation plus my wife has a bad back and I couldnt have asked her to carry loads of stuff possibly 2 miles, so camping right next to the car was the winner for me. Also my Sunday is normally ruined by having to get up early to leave site, so this year I wont have this problem as we will be using the myhab car park.

Some great reply's here to questions I had about the myhab setup.... Thanks!

One other question I have is, with it being a separate car park, are the roads into the myhab site different to the main car parks, what a the traffic jams like? Thanks in advance
