Size of tents with children..

Hi,

We may be camping this year for the first time and I'm not sure what type of tent is acceptable. My friend is lending me a 4 man tent, she has said you can fit 4 blowup matresses easily, and has a living bit too.

Would this be too big, would we need to consider going smaller? I'm really not a tent person and have no idea what I need.

Many thanks ) it seems it will be ok then, there is 4 of us ( hubby and 2 little one) and I don't want us to be totally on top of each other in tiny little things.. We don't tend to take food, just brekkie stuff..

Plus side am applying for the disabled field and parking, so should be easier with tent etc.

During last years audience with Michael, he mentioned that fact that he now needs many more camping fields coz everyone has such big tents these days. He joked about it and said it was cool, but inevitably that’s why some people end up camping / parking / vanning (is that a real word) miles from the action in the neighbouring land.
