what i find interesting is how neil said that noel was co-heading with the killers, and it appears there is no co-head and that snow patrol are simply subbing the killers.

it does go by what noel said, this way he doesn't miss the roses.

There's probably 4 or 5 acts I would like to see. It's very predictable and safe.

I like the headliners and would pay to watch the sub headliners at a push, but the rest is so average for my tastes.

the rest would pay to watch madness, shed seven and happy monday. So not for me this year.

Well I am happy with that, think a corner has been slightly turned here. Yes there will always be ones on the line up I wont like, or will bring along the chavs or the idiots, but this year doesn't seem as bad.

Always found it weird that Noel wasnt subbing Stone Roses, it just made sense that he did so glad thats sorted.

Now thats been announced I want to know the rest and the stage and time splits!!!!

Good move on the headliner front, and a scattering of decent acts across the rest of the line-up, but still mainly chart shite. £200 for the weekend is borderline theft though, especially when you consider how many nobheads you'll be camping with. A move in the right direction if you're a longtime V-goer though. I was hoping for the festival to go completely T4 On The Beach with the line-up so that it'd keep the neds away from Leeds, the "hu da fuk r de stone roses" brigade seem to be pretty present on Facebook though, I hope they stay away from R&L.

But no, i'm not a noob to the forum (can't remember my old username haha) but i've been to V in 2007 and to last years chavfest2011. Is there any news on when the days are going to be divided?

Should have got Coldplay, there is no better headliner. I'm satisfied though, just need Vaccines, a few other decent bands, and some sunshine

Quite happy with the line up for this 30 something. Roses, Mondays and Inspiral's should be good and a bit of Shed Seven adds to the nostalgia. Only slight disappointment is no Florence

Thing to add is that list of acts released today is only about half the acts playing - will be loads more before August. Admittedly most will be on the smaller stages but that's often where you see the up and coming new acts

Now after last years shocker me and my mates swore NEVER to go to V again .... that said this years lineup is looking very good am almost a bit gutted I'm heading to IoW !!! May have to make it 2 fests this year plus blur in Hyde Pk my bank manager is going to be very annoyed come august !!

On a side not as been said already a little sad no Flo or Vaccines BUT huge well done on FRANK TURNER !!!

how sure are we that e.g. Killers and Snow Patrol are both on the main rather than SP on 4 Music and them clashing?
