campervan field

I am hoping to have either a campervan or trailer tent this year,i have a few friends going who will be camping on site, are they allowed to enter the campervan field at all, not to camp,more to come for a big fry up breakfast ,or a few beers at night. Someone has told me you have some sort of pass to show for access to the campervan field, i am not sure if there just winding me up as i have only ever camped at Glastonbury and have no idea were the campervan field is.

Anyone can come and go as they please, you actually exit the site as the campervan fields are outside of the fence. As you leave you show your ticket and are given a 'pass out' which you retain until you enter again. On re entering you have to show your ticket and hand back the pass out.

Not sure if you know there are campervan fields in both the East and the West. Make sure you get the right side depending on where you spend your time.

You don't need anything special to go into the campervan fields just a pass out at the main gates..

When you leave the site to go to the campervan fields you need to have your ticket with you. Anyone can leave at any time, but you only get back in if you still have your ticket and the pass they give you on the way out.

Any one can enter camper van fields as long have festival ticket so yes they can come to your van for beers!!!

I think you need to opt for the East Camp if you want to be sure - that is as described by others, a walk through for folk in general. The West is for campervans only so their's no reason for other folk to be there - I dont know, as I've not been to that one, but the rules might be different, so why risk it?

CV fields are as free and easy to enter/exit as any other public field at the festival. However as they are just outside the perimeter fence you will need your passout/ticket/wristband. Job done, thread completed!

I meant as opposed to people passing through to camp inside - but yes, you're right - sloppy phrasing on my part - they take trailer tents and caravans as well
