Health facilities on site?

Hi all, does anyone know much about what health facilities/doctors are on site?

Any volunteers or staff that have covered that side of things before on here?

Mainly interested in the mental health side of things, got a friend who's had some problems in the past and we're a bit worried about what might happen if she has a relapse at Glasto.

And taken ill generally? Anyone had to go to hospital from glasto? Is the nearest one in Bristol?

My friend is a psych and works at Glast - the. The psych docs work 24hrs - shifts obviously! Welfare is where to head for.

as has been said, there are excellent facilities at the festival; welfare are friendly and helpful, and were when one of our group had to see them about her mental health condition a few years back.

There's also samaritans on site so if your friend just wants a non judgmental ear to talk to then they'll be there too :-)
