VCK
Just a discussion about their performance, setlist predicton, etc. I've lately found myself addicted to this gem of theirs: If they play this song I'm not particularly bothered about the rest of their set. (As long as it includes Trees and Bad Cover Version as well though!)

harderfaster
...and on a sidenote, do you remember that year where they showed the video for ...Running The World on the big screens over and over again? That was a good year. 2006 maybe?

stylishkids
Can't wait for Pulp at Leeds! The one band out of the many that I'll see this summer that I truly cannot wait to see Ideal Setlist: Weeds Mis-Shapes Party Hard Help The Aged Babies Bad Cover Version Sorted for E's and Whizz Lipgloss Sylvia This is Hardcore Pink Glove Underwear Razzmatazz F.e.e.l.i.n.g c.a.l.l.e.d l.o.v.e Disco 2000 Trees Sunrise Encore: Do you remember the first time? Common People 19 might be asking for too much so could possibly take out Party Hard and Lipgloss. Would love it if they played Sylvia but can't see it tbh. It's going to be great whatever they play anyway
Tigerdragon
I hope they squeeze in as many as humanly possible. It would be a travesty if they got less time at Reading because of the way the slots are working. Pulp need every minute they can get. VCK
KOL played 19 songs the other year so they should be fine. VCK
What about Mis-Shapes. Opening with the fear would be excellent. Edited April 7, 2011 by VCK
Joshuwarr
Do they play any material off their pre His N Hers albums? Would love to see some 80s/early 90s Pulp tunes As long as I get to hear Do You Remember The First Time and Joyriders live I don't care

Banana Co
Apparently Jarvis has said he hates Mis-Shapes.
JAnderson
Yeh but for the fans. A lot of bands have songs of their own that they don't like. Alex Turner said he hates 'I bet you look good on the dancefloor' and Thom Yorke has never liked creep and they rarely play it live. That's why it was so surprising that they did it in 2009. Dan R
Bumping this thread. Really got a tough choice between Pulp and Mighty Mighty Bosstones now, which has made me more excited for both! Their first show together again is this Friday at Primavera so we'll get a decent guess at the setlist for R+L
VCK
It's actually tonight at Le Bikini in Touloue, France Hope they also play Like A Friend, should have made the original cut of This Is Hardcore, that song.

mrtourette
I agree it's a better album. I think as well as the four you mentioned The Fear might get a runout.
tolywoly
I think they'll open with something off His 'N Hers or Different Class. Babies would be ideal.
rexclark
I like This Is Hardcore but in my eyes Different Class is perfection. Really looking forward to seeing what their setlist is like.

Banana Co
I thought I would put this up; It's from setlist.fm and the Pulp setlist looks like this; http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/pulp/2011/le-bikini-ramonville-saint-agne-france-7bd3cab8.html Maybe this guy has forgotten a few song placings. mrtourette
A solid setlist, no question, but at the same time a bit dissapointing to see just one song off This Is Hardcore and none off We Love Life. Hope they mix it up a bit on the tour, I feel songs like Help The Aged and The Trees are too well known to leave out.
