VCK
Yeah, the setlist has been updated on that forum now. Strange, looks a bit different to before. It does seem quite odd for them to do a set focused heavily on two particular albums, and just the odd song from the others. Mind you, this was at their own gig, and bands tend to play more fan-oriented material whereas at festivals they do all the hits (unless you're RHCP or the Manics ) Lipgloss Party Hard Help The Aged A Little Soul The Trees Razzmatazz Are all notable by their absence and should be included IMO. John92
I hope they play razzmatazz and lipgloss at leeds... Also i'd rather see some of these.. 'Something Changed' 'Disco 2000' 'Babies' 'Sorted For Es & Wizz' later on in the set. Apart from common people, they are probably the 4 most well known songs. Opening with do you rememebr the first time Edited May 26, 2011 by John92

Banana Co
He hasn't changed at all. He's a really funny person. My friend met him not long ago and he said that he was hilarious.
harderfaster
On his solo tour he had a recorder. I asked him if I could have it but he said no. "What would I do for all the other shows?"
SoLoCo
Sad to see they are not playing 'Party Hard'. Pink Glove and Mis-Shapes make up though I guess.

VCK
Looks brilliant. From all reports they smashed it last night. Bit of a silly question, but do people reckon they'll use those big screens at Reading when it'll still be broad daylight for the first half of their set? Banana Co
Will it be broad daylight? Remember Libertines last year, that wasn't light.
JT436
Jaysus, I'd only just been born at the height of their fame, but that intro still somehow manages to send nostalgic shivers down my spine Will it be broad daylight? Remember Libertines last year, that wasn't light. Edited May 28, 2011 by JT436

harderfaster
Oh shit yeah, Pulp will be starting early. My urgency to see the whole of Saturday combined with cheap ticket prices is tempting me to ditch stewarding in favour of a ticket. The possibility of missing Saturday is a bit too much. saints15
http://www.nme.com/news/pulp/57048 Does anyone think that Pulp could play some of the older songs at R&L because of this?
mrtourette
I'd be very surprised if they did. I'm still hoping that they'll play more stuff from This Is Hardcore, not earlier stuff.
saints15
Same, although I am surprised that they are re-releasing these albums, although I may be tempted to buy them, the only one of the three i've listened to is Separations. What are the other two like do you know?
harderfaster
not fantastic tbh.
VCK
Yeah to be honest I'd reccomend not listening to any Pulp material which came out before His N' Hers, which people sort of treat as their debut in a paradoxical way. They just sound like a really bad 80s Post-Punk band.
