Im Paul from Ireland

I was lucky enough to get a ticket to Glasto last year and had a great time. This year I wasnt so lucky. So I thought I might give Oxfam Volunteering a try.

I have been accepted with Oxfam and am looking forward to it, however the lack of information they supply is making me uncertain of what to expect and making me nervous that they may forget about me or I may not get in.

I made a call and at the end of the rushed phone call I was told more info will be mailed in May and that I will be arriving there on the 21st.

This kinda helps with me booking flights but I thought I might have to arrive earlier due to the volunteer work.

Can anyone tell me what I might be doing or what to expect.

Hi Paul

we have being accepted with Oxfam as well and like you its our first time with them,

we have no info at the moment but I wouldn't worry too much so long as you have the

emails from them (confirmation & deposit) you'll be fine, We will be getting on site

on the Monday (Yessss another extra day) so if I were you i'd start looking for a flght

now to get a better deal. have you signed up on the Oxfam forums where I'm sure

the regulars and veterens will be able to give you much more info

See ya there

Hi I've Stewarded and Supervised with Oxfam since 1999 and I still get a bit tense until I receive my envelope with my arrival instructions but don't worry it is still quite early on in the Stewarding calendar and as long as you have had the confirmation emails from Oxfam you will have been accepted to Steward at Glastonbury.

The following links may help you to get a bit more info but the main arrival date is the 21st June to allow everyone to get registered and set up prior to the main stewarding shifts starting.
