Allergy Friendly Food Stands?

Hi all, I hope someone can help with some food stall info at EOTR.

This year will be our third time at End of the Road and my girlfriend has just been diagnosed as a celiac (allergy to wheat and gluten) - does anyone know if any of the food stalls at the festival cater for celiacs and other allergy sufferers?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi I know that one of the happy campers last year had coeliacs (not sure of the spelling) and found one stall that served food he could eat, I guess that the problem is knowing if they are going to be there this year....I will ask on fb what it was called. I am diabetic so I just find most of the food unsuitable...loads of carbs anyway.... and take my own! Sorry I cannot be more helpful

Finally got some info for you from my friend...hope that this helps

"Coeliac food can be a bit of a nightmare as it also should be uncontaminated by wheat/gluten and that tands to be the more problematic part as you cant look into their kitchen. C is also a veggie, which decreases his choices. Nevertheless, i seem to recall there was a mexican place doing nachos that was ok and two diffrent curry-type spalls that appeared fine. Indian is usually ok as they only use wheatflour for nan and chapattis, but use gram for most other purposes and that is fine. Thai food is often ok as long as they do not add any soya sauce, which has wheat in. regretfully the baked potatoes and the wedges were coated ,so he couldnt have those. do feel free to get the person to add me ,i am very happy to discuss it and the more awareness is created at the foodstall end ,the easier it willl be in future. I am already looking forward to EOTR"
