Thought I'd start up one of these threads where you post up the top 3 tunes you're looking forward at this year's festival. Feel free to post up youtube videos etc, might be a good way to listen to act you hadn't heard of/wouldn't have considered going to see.

Mine are pretty obvious acts/tunes to choose:

1. Chemical Brothers - Horse Power

2. Sub Focus- Let the Story Begin

3. Frightened Rabbit- The Modern Leper

The Twilight Sad.

I hope they play in a tent... so it's dark and intense when they play this.

TWS have been touring pretty hard in 2010 and they are an awesome live band now.

Highlight track for me, Cold Days From The Birdhouse:

Very difficult choosing only three songs! So I have kind of cheated and chosen three songs from each night...oops! Here they are -

Friday

1. Nero - Me and You

2. Groove Armada - Superstylin

3. Katy B - Lights On / Marc Ronson - Somebody to Love me (cheating again I know, it's just too difficult!)

Saturday

1. Chemical Bro's - Under the Influence

2. Chemical Bro's - Hey Boy Hey Girl

3. Magnetic Man - Getting Nowhere

Sunday

1. SMD - Sleep Deprivation

2. Boys Noize - My Moon My Man / &Down (will he play this though?!)

I've seen Boys Noize 9 times now since the first time in 2006 (when he was pretty much unknown and played to about 40 people in the Arches.)

On 4 of those occasions he hasn't played & Down.......and left me gutted! He's probably thinkin it's too old now and doesn't wanna overplay it - but it never fails to destroy the dancefloor. It's an outrageously good tune!!

It was awesome when he played it at Rockness 08 but he never played it last year - and I thought his set was a wee bit disappointing last year. Too much electro and not enough techno for me.

Fingers crossed he drops it this year :)

That was such an amazing gig! Just before Annie Mac and Felix was it not? He was well and truly the best act of the weekend for me. I have seen him too many times now, so won't bother this year. In 08 he was supposed to play Myspace bus for a secret gig, but he couldn't make it in the end, so they got Count & Sinden - another one of my favourite RN moments!
