Buying re-sale tickets with someone else's card

Hi All

I'm in the fortunate position of already having a ticket, but will be trying on sunday for three friends who don't, and who are all unavailable to try on sunday morning. if i get lucky, i'll be paying for the tickets with my card (i.e. not a card that matches the name and address of any of the people who will be down as ticket holders (hopefully!))

will this transaction go through ok? or will it be bounced back? do i remember something about the billing address being pre-populated as the registration address of the first person who you enter on the form?

or am i just panicking?!

thanks

I'm in the same boat. There's 6 of us and we were planning on putting all the money on one card. The first time round obviously the card will match the lead person's details. However the second time (god I hope there's a second time!!) it won't.

Just wanted some reassurances that this will work cos like the OP said, I remember a few years ago when it didn't. Ended up having to go back to the start of the booking page and change the order of the people on the page to use someone elses card.

Oh the drama!!
