Duplicate Bookings?!

Hi all,

Getting really nervous about sunday now!! Mission is to get a ticket!

I have sorted remote access to my works pc, gonna try my own connection in a million browsers, two phones!!

Im also giving my details to my mate (booking numbers, card number etc)

I was just wondering if we both got through to the site at the same time and booked tickets would it duplicate our bookings? Has anyone ever been in this situation before where potentially could both book with the same bank card and id numbers?

Hopefully one of us will get through and then be able to text the other but if we are both on the phones this may not be read

Any help would be awesome!!

To be honest I think it's a pretty unlikely scenario that you'll be both going through the same pages at exactly the same time

I imagine that whoever types clicks "OK" on the page where you enter the registration numbers first will lock those registration numbers out until a booking is made or the session is killed. Even if you both were to click the OK button at the exact same moment in time the seetickets server would receive one request before the other, which would be the one that would be begin the booking process. The other person attempting to book would probably see an error message telling them that these booking references could not be used at that time.

(oh, and even if by some miracle the server did receive the requests simultaneously they would be dealt with sequentially by the web service meaning this still wouldn't be a problem).

Theres 4 of us trying to get a ticket for my cousin just ring each other when 1 of you gets through to the paying page.....Simples

It won't go through - I am pretty sure you can only buy one ticket per reference number
