Apologies for sharing festival information on a festival website

Da J Doc - It's going to be held last weekend in July at Seaton Park in Aberdeen. Tickets are £90 but there's no camping as far as I'm aware.

There's still a bunch of things to be added to that - Maximo will not be the headliner on the Saturday night - that won't be announced in our first round of announcements but will be announced really soon. We figured it was good to keep a little (or big) bit back as we're confident that we've put together something that should appeal to everyone - give us a wee bit of a break. You buy a ticket for one gig at the aecc these days and it's about the same as a day ticket with all the add-ons etc. (£50 a day, £90 for both days)

This is a proper proper music festival in Seaton Park - we've worked mentally hard on this. Hope you all like it

Don't think there's any camping although if you get in quick enough there's a few Travelodges in and around Aberdeen and a Holiday Inn / HI Express within about 15 mins walk

Well, the cat is out of the proverbial bag... Northern Lights Music Festival is proud to announce that the following acts WILL be playing at Seaton Park on the 30 and 31 July 2011: Madness, Maximo Park, Kelis, The Waterboys, Noisettes, Idlewild, Paloma Faith, Tinchy Stryder, Edwyn Collins, The Futureheads, Mylo, Example, Audio Bullys, Sander Van Doorn, The Xcerts and much, much more.

Two days, three stages and more than 50 acts are set to rock the Granite City this summer. The festival will be officially launched on Monday 18 April at 9am when tickets go onsale. More on that later!

Booked the Bridge Street Travelodge for Fri-Sat-Sun nights.

Madness confirmation was enough to lock it in for me.

The Evening Express are reporting that accommodation will be available at Hillhead Halls for £25 per night/£40 for the weekend.
