Hey, its my close friends (female) 21st birthday at glasto. Its on the sunday, basically me and my friends want something to surprise her for her last night at glasto.

Any ideas?

After headliners come back to your tents, have it decorated in fairy lights, glowsticks, plastic flowers and all, instead of a cake have pancakes (mix the dry ingredients beforehand, buy milk from the tractors and take your own eggs - alternatively mix it all before hand and freeze for a few days and keep it cool at the festie), worthy FM on a wind up radio in the background, have lots of cans going around and make sure you've invited your neighbours/strangers, sing happy birthday and shortly after run off to shangra la

How about getting one of the small bands, circus acts or similar to play a song just for her?

Find some generic song and change the words to suit her, or something like that - I'm sure a lot of the smaller acts would be happy to oblige.

Boring old man practicality warning:

Sometimes, by midnight on Sunday you're all absolutely shattered, from 5 days of partying. Plus there's often people beginning to worry about the journey tomorrow (i.e. trying not to drink because of driving, or wanting a decent kip ready for an early start in the morning).

It might not apply to your group -- depending on your stamina and your travel plans -- but give it some thought. Perhaps her surprise would be better delivered after midnight on Saturday night -- still technically her birthday.
