Travel from festival site to Taunton

Hi

I managed to get a combined coach/festival ticket in the re-sale today. yey!! however, only managed to get a single coach ticket from taunton to the festival. (not that im complaining :-). but am now wondering how the hell i am going to get back from the festival to taunton. (am from newcastle and so dont know the area at all).

so was wondering does anyone know if buses run from the festival to taunton? any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Taunton is heading the West from the festival. Newcastle is North East. Are you going back to Newcastle? If you go to Taunton after the festival you will be going the wrong way.

I travelled to Taunton from Glastonbury last year. Left from gate A, got on one of the free double decker Route Masters that take you to Castle Cary train station & jumped on the first train heading east to Taunton. About an hour queue at the station but they gave out free water & was quite pleasant.

Thanks for that. Yeah I know Taunton is in the wrong direction for Newcastle, this worked out the cheapest option (by miles) on the coach. So whilst it will take a canny bit longer it will save loads of money. Getting the train down sounds good tho, prob. going to be my only option. But like I said I dont care I'm going and can't wait!! Thanks for the reply.
