spwan-of-the-devil
Blink 182 tour Postponed and ticket still stand for next year! http://www.rocksound.tv/news/article/blink-182-postpone-all-dates
harderfaster
What an appalling reason to cancel a huge tour. Such a huge tour like that shouldn't be cancelled because they have poor time-management. Thank f**k I didn't buy a ticket!

Bisque
F**king lazy c*nts. Sorry. Anybody know what can I do about my O2 ticket? I definitely won't be able to make the rescheduled date.
ampersand
lol @ the moaners on facebook. they've rescheduled it just to make more money apparently
rexclark
I think it is a bit of a shit reason to cancel. I'm pretty sure they'll have plenty of new material to play at gigs, they managed it last year.
amy246
Slightly annoyed, had ticket for Notts and now i have no gigs/concerts or even festivals and holidays to look forward to this summer!

ampersand
How does that work? I would have thought the admin cost of rescheduling so many arena dates would eat into their profits a lil bit.

luckysalt
New dates have a gap Download weekend for the Sunday and also Soni/TITP and Oxegen. Expect they'll do even more fests next year now. Reckon they'll defo do either Download or Soni and Rock AM Ring too.
Jackmypie
This is f**king BALLS ON TOAST! Has anyone tried getting a refund yet? I'll spend the money on some other gig.
Mariner
I think it's ridiculous that it takes 2+ years to write a record. It better be mind blowing.
Bobs
I don't think it'll go ahead, and i certainly don't think we'll see Blink 182 enter the UK together as a band to tour. More than sees the eye here and there is NO WAY it's based on album alone, because lets face it. If they play 18-20 songs a set, and they have 11-12 on the album, they aren't gonna play all 12 songs! So just play the Tour with Greatest Hits and a few snippets of whats to come. I personally think it's the end.

ampersand
mark doesn't seem to speak much about blink on his twitter now that you mention that. i fully agree with the setlist thing. people moan all the time about an act playing the same set all the time. not giving you anything different. and heres a band doing what it can to not have that happen, at no extra charge to the punter, and some folk still moan. sure, they could play some new stuff that we've not heard before. but then it's all unfamilar and doesn't get the same buzz that it would had the fans had a month or two for it to sink in. we all know the whole 'go to the bar at the new song' section of gigs that lots of folk have. kingjamma
People have the right to moan. Thousands of people have spent money on tickets, accomodation, travel, money that could be spent elsewhere, only to get told that the vast majority of that will go to waste because three millionaires with shit time management can't be arsed to write a record in two years (Yet have time to focus on putting other albums out or the time to take a tasty payday off lucozade), and think it would be too creatively stifling to play their hits and preview some new tracks, and have instead opted to inconvenience thousands and thousands of paying punters. rexclark
I'm pretty sure if you did a straw pole of everyone with tickets if they'd rather the gig went ahead with no new material or wait a year and have a new set I'd imagine most would take the gigs just now. I don't particularly believe this excuse. I don't know why else they'd cancel but I just don't think what they've said is true.
harderfaster
i doubt many people bought tickets to see them to hear their new album. let's be honest here...

jump
I think 44+ cancelled tour & fest dates so they could work on their 2nd album that never appeared. That time it was to beat Angel & Airwaves to releasing their 2nd album.
