Blink 182's 2012 rescheduled tour...

Blink? Nah they'd definately headline.

I'd love them to have a punk day at Download. Something like:

Blink 182

The Offspring

Rancid

Nofx

Bad Religion

Dropkick Murphys

Less Than Jake

Skindred

But seeing as AC seems to not want to bother with alot of those bands I can see it being more than just a pipe dream.

they headlined r&l on the back of a reunion whereas this year if they hadn't cancelled they were set to sub the fests they were playing... maybe im underestimating and they could headline... but imagine the storm if they did. sub tops i reckon if they played download

Horrendous live band. Would die on their arse at Download, fine for a R&L crowd who had already decided that Blink were great before they took to the stage but the DL crowd is older & more discerning. Would be an epic fail of Marilyn Manson 2009 proportions but moreso given as they'd be headlining.

Blink were booked to headline Download in 2005, but split / pulled out and Feeder replaced them. They would headline Download, and if the new album is out I'd say they're pretty much nailed on to be at either DL or Soni.

Sounds like people would rather he books Metallica or Iron Maiden again :/.

I'd much rather Metallica or Maiden play over Blink. In fact any band that can actually play live would be preferable to Blink, unless of course blokes pushing 40 making unfunny knob gags & playing badly appeals.

Blink at Leeds last year was the worst performance from a supposed 'headline' act I've ever had the misfortune to witness, and I saw the RHCP.

Pearl Jam would be amazing.

I was at both and although I can't vouch for the actual size of the crowd, being at the front and all that, I can tell you that the T crowd were more mental for it. In fact it was brutal. This surprised me as I didn't think that Rage would be a huge it at T but they were.

I was sad Blink pulled out but Slash in has more than made up for it. If they went to Download I'm not sure where they would fit in and whether I would see them. I'm pretty sure which headliners and subs I'm going to be seeing now.
