Yeah and of note from a list of others is marty mclean, the canadian guy from last year and for those who still think Frankie Boyle is funny and not offensive then you may be interested in Rev. Obidah Steppenwolf III.

That video thing is a right pain in the arse, cool for a first look but i really can't be bothered sitting through that again to list names.

Don't know why everyones moaning about this line up to be honest. I think it's great and better than last year!

This year we have Sean Hughes and Daniel Sloss. several decent comedians doing 2 slots and some intreaguing new folk that will be interesting to see a bit of.

I like the fact that they are taking comedy at festivals seriously, a Scottish festival needs it and it makes the festival more diverse.

Now get "lost and found" back!!

No big news for me really, never really been into comedy at festivals. Three high profile(ish) names added though, so quite strong on the comedy front.

I love the comedy tent @ Leeds

I hoped that Kevin's successful slot last year would bring a more concerted effort from Rock Ness to book more comics and give them a good announcement / stage and help build a crowd for them.

I will definitely catch a couple of the comedians announced.

Folks, Tank Commander Gary isn't going to be performing although he might be there. He just did the video.

If you reached the conclussion that he was playing from him promoting the comedy at the event and rockness saying he will be there then you are indeed a dafty, you should have known that you were meant to go to the rockness website, look at the line-up and then deduce that he isn't actually on due to his ommission from the list.

Poor show rockness.

Not really anybody there I'm too fussed about seing. Kevin Bridges was fantastic last year, I caught him at Leeds as well and he was great even although it was basically the same set. Saw Emo Philips at Leeds as well and I must say It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, the man is a genius!

As for the Rockness line up, Sean Hughes was the only name that stood out for me but I doubt I'll go see him. Used to love Sean's Show on Channel 4 years ago but my recent memories of him are a cameo in Coronation Street.

Although I'm not too fussed abot the comedy this year I'll probably still pop along if there's no one else on I want to see and I still think it's a great idea by the organisers to have some comedy on as well as the music.

Does anyone know the name of the irish rapper comdeian that played last year. He just made up raps as he went along, he was superb!

Aw he's said on his twitter that he won't be performing he was just announcing the line up.... might bump into him roaming about but lol!!

Comedy line up looks good anyway, sometimes its good to get a wee break from all the music, especially during the day when there might not be much you want to see!
