malfy
Just after some advice regarding camping. Camping on East side again this year. As found saw more at acoustic and pyramid last year (fave music places) without the long trek from the west side (as in prev twice) Managed to squeeze into top of family field last year (had teenage son with us last year )which was an ideal location and was quiet on a night, but as just the 2 of us this year, dont think we'll be welcome. Kidney Mead and Big Ground should be obvious choices, but as they fill up first, thinking really cramped and lively. Woodsies and lime kiln may be choices as seem to be relativley quiet, but seem a bit of a hike (or am i wrong?) for acoustic and pyramid (especially if going back to tent couple of times a day, dont mind hiking round rest of site, otherwise). So any thoughts and advice would be welcome. thanks
bambina
We camped right at the bottom of Big Ground last year, just the other side of the lane from the Kidz Field and found it surprisingly quiet. Only thing that did my head in was the bang of the long drop doors first thing in a morning, but by that time I was being cooked out of my tent anyway

shiff
Thnks for advice but as stated earlier, stayed in family field last year, but don't think couples only would be welcome (or this a different field ?)
malfy
Family field is for people with kids and should only be used as such (I do not have a toddler etc but can appreciate why families with kids need to camp there and with such demand for space in this little field it seems wrong for adults only to camp there).
