Buying tickets from a friend?

Hi,

I wondered if you could help me.

I am going to creamfields with 3 other friends, and have brought our tickets (they have yet to arrive), however one of my friends can no longer make the event, and wants to sell his ticket on.

I've noticed on the website it says tickets are non-transferable, so would he be able to do this? Is there any way they can tell if the ticket holder is not the person who purchased the ticket online (e.g. do the tickets have your name on etc?)

I'm guessing this has got to have happened to people in the past few events, so wondered how you get around it (i.e. if the tickets have not been sent yet can you contact anyone to get it changed properly?)

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

I can't see why not, ours have never had names on them and I've never been asked for ID to see if anything would match up

Intact when we bought our tickets the only name we gave is the person who paid for them!

yea pretty sure you can swap the person, they are just tickets not like the glasto ones with peoples names and picture on

hi buddy yes ye can give another mate your ticket they are just numbers on the tickets no names or out. it happened 2 me last year 1 ov me mates could not go in the end so he just sold it 2 another 1 ov my mates hope this helps and by f**k you are going 2 ave a epic wkend this is the best festival in the world and i ave been 2 many ave a good un peace.
