MYHAB

Right I've spoken to green tent company and they seem brilliant. We will get a 3 man tent which is guaranteed and will be bigger than the one we would have had. There are flushing toilets and "really nice showers" which were the woman's exact words. Also security and parking a normal. Only thing they don't have is the pampering tent but they are trying to get a portakabin with some power sockets. I feel loads better now, Michael Eavis saved the day! If we do get any money back and we are happy with the site it's all going to a Glasto charity.

The lady said the security falls under Glastonbury every year, not Myhab or GTC, so it will be the same as every other year.

The part you are picking up on in regards to Thursday night is for us late arrivers, there needs to be a rep on site to allocate our tents, this is what I am referring to.

This is bad news, sympathies to all those who've been caught up in this and big up as ever to ME.

It seems, without being negative, the the festival bubble of the last ten years may have burst this summer and we are going to see a lot of cancellations and related industries going bust. Look at the state of Reading/Leeds. The FT, that bastion of Festival reporting reportes on it t'uther day.

Hi,

New to the forums but been avidly watching this thread.

This is our first Glastonbury and we had booked an MyHab pod, so really disappointed about what has happened but it is brilliant what Michael Eavis has done in such short notice.

Spoken to the GTC this morning and reflects what most people have said already:

* You can take your own tent

* They do have some airbeds but not enough for everyone

* We are in the same field with same security but no lockboxes

* Parking is separate but secure

* Private bar and cafe

* 12 showers cleaned 3 times a day and she also said lots of toilets

Really couldn't sleep well last night but feel so much more positive again this morning and I hope everyone has a brill time :)

I know with the Myhab tents they said we could take them away at the end of the festival. Not sure what the arrangements are with these tents but I'd rather donate mine to charity. If they don't have a facility to donate the tents on site and we can take them away, I'll pack mine up and sell it on ebay with the profits going to one of the Glastonbury charities.

In my first year of uni (2003) I lived next door to and was good friends with the guy who thought up and put into business the MyHab business; I wasn't convinced by it but it did seem to be successful in its limited summer festival market; a bit of a shame to see it go under and unlucky to those who paid a premium for the myHab services... Very good of ME to bail you out; a true man!

I have the companies house report, the directors address and name and the amended registered company name, which is different from the invoice address.

Interestingly there were 5 directors, 1 resigned on 27.08.10, 3 resigned on 25.10.10, so that leaves James as sole director.

agree that to see pretty much any business fail in the current economic climate is unforunate....i'd just have been happier if he hadn't waited until 4 days before the event to say he couldn't deliver!

Hmmmm ... I can't see how it could have suddenly 'failed' - they've been collecting cash for new bookings and doing nothing so spending nothing since last summer. Now the time has come where they would have had to spend some of that collected cash and suddenly everything is off. So where's the cash?

It suggests just one thing to me. :(

Seems like Mint Partners Limited had a 30% investment in Myhab. They are the ones who in late 2010 went into administration (pwc report on line). Mint Partners also were renting 80 Cannon Street, along with Myhab which is a bit strange, so I suspect any communication to this address won't be useful! At the point of the report the administrators had not realised this asset as they were liasing with several interested parties - perhaps this didn't happen!

Spoken to GTC as we had booked a Myhab rather than a tent, and they are trying to provide everything to a similar level to what we had booked, so the lovely lady indicated that if we were expecting a foam bed, we would get an air bed. Just didn't know whether to bring one - as it would take up alcohol space

Anyway, off to get some cider from The Bristol Cider Shop :D See everyone there - can not wait

Registered office details - anyone live anywhere near? Not that I would expect anyone to be at the registered office, but you never know.

MYHAB LTD

OSH BATCHWORTH HOUSE BATCHWORTH PLACE

CHURCH STREET

RICKMANSWORTH

HERTS

WD3 1JE

Company No. 05876488

I'll deff be giving any refund to an ME charity too.

TAking the kids so really good to know that the loos & showers will be there. (just did some adding up though. If there are 3000 people & 12 showers, assuming they are in constant use 24 hours a day that would give us under 6 minutes to shower & be out...?????? think some might be staying muddy - NOT that I am complaining)

Many thanks ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
